How did the Association of Friends of the MAVA originate?
The idea to promote an Association of Friends of the MAVA arises with the purpose of channelling and orientating the frequent requests from people who were interested in collaborating with the Museum. In this particular, the Association would give coverage legal and otherwise to this disinterested concern.
The Associations of Friends of the Museums have been joining the Museums organization with the aim to booster some of their activities, dynamize these Institutions and represent the concerns of the public. These associations are a sort of non-governmental organization and their goals and means are stated in their Statutes.
The Association of Friends of the MAVA was officially registered at the Associations Registry Office of the Community of Madrid on August 22nd 2003
